Welcome to Petite Retreat! If you’re looking for a relaxing mountain getaway with all the perks of Big Bear, but secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet, take in the views of nature, and reset, we’ve got the perfect place for you. We’re a bit different than the rest. Upon your arrival, our property manager will greet you to let you in and show you around. We are honored to have you as our guest, and want to make sure you have everything you need. They are local and available to you should you need anything! While you’re here, we will have a guide of things to do around the town along with all the comforts of home if you choose to stay in.

The kitchen and bathroom are both fully stocked with all the essentials including dishes, cookware, silverware and glassware, as well as fresh towels, new toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We’ve added some special touches that you’ll find throughout the home as well so that your stay is comfy and cozy!

Big Bear Lake, CA is a quaint little mountain town nestled in the San Bernardino mountains. The lake itself is full of fish and quite inviting and we are also famous for our mountain and ski resorts. If you’re looking for small-town charm, you’ll love strolling through our main streets village where you’ll find a host of mom-and-pop shops with our local favorites like the candle shop, grandma’s fudge, the Christmas store, and many other treasures.
